• Air Quality Modeler with Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability   [APPLY]

  
  The Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Air Quality Modeler. This Air Quality Modeler position falls within the department's Planning section. This role will work among professional and technical support staff involved with air quality planning. This team member will utilize emissions inventories, utilize sophisticated air quality models, and will be responsible for managing modeling software and related data. The Air Quality Modeler will support state implementation planning and periodic reporting to EPA, help to oversee the permit/dispersion modeling program, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Planning section. The position will assist with air quality research, meteorological, and emissions inventory applications. Employees will also get cross-trained in other areas, and will participate in various departmental projects.
