Weather Data Scientist, Data Assimilation [APPLY]
Weather is increasingly a first-order problem for the electric grid. It shapes demand through extremes and governs the output of wind and solar generation. In India in particular, today's forecasting leaves a lot of room for improvement.
At Pravah, we're building foundational intelligence for the electric grid, with utility deployments across the US, Europe, and India. Weather sits squarely on the critical path for that work.
To push this forward, we're hiring for two India-based roles to build the next generation of AI-driven, high-resolution operational forecasting models:
Weather Data Scientist, Numerical Weather Prediction https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/pravah/3d580ee8-0b2b-411a-bd39-ca2e8921e5bb
Weather Data Scientist, Data Assimilation https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/pravah/07402f48-bde5-41ba-8a78-da9a9c999a09
If you're excited about weather, AI, and the electric grid, please reach out. I'd be happy to answer any questions about the roles: karan.jakhar@pravah.com
