The PTINV
file is the input point source inventory file for annual and average-day data. This file can be in FF10, ORL, or ORL FIRE
format.
The user specifies the data provided using this command in the header: FF10_POINT.
This FF10 format uses the header described in Section 6.2.1.4, “Header records”. Sample header records for daily point sources are shown below:

The ORL inventory file for fires (#ORL FIRE
) is one of the required input files to provide wildfire and prescribed fire data that are being treated as point sources
to SMOKE. This file includes the fire characteristics, such as country/state/county code, fire identification, fire name,
location identification, location coordinates, SCC (flaming or smoldering), material burned, vegetation types and heat content.
Some of characteristics that are common to this master (annual) inventory file PTINV
and the day-specific inventory file PTDAY
shown in Section 6.2.6.2, “ORL FIREEMIS Emission Format” need to match exactly by country/state/county code, fire ID, location ID, location coordinates, and SCC.
