Figure 6.8, “Mbsetup input and output files” shows the input and output files for the Mbsetup program. The input files are the county cross-reference file (MCREF
), the inventory file output from Smkinven (MOBL
), the ungridding matrix file from Grdmat (MUMAT
), the county settings file (MVREF
), and the speed cross-reference file (only if USE_SPEED_PROFILES
is set to Y).
Mbsetup outputs an ASCII listing of counties using day-average meteorology data (DAILYGROUP
), week-average meteorology data (WEEKLYGROUP
), month-average meteorology data (MONTHLYGROUP
), or episode-average meteorology data (EPISODEGROUP
). It also outputs a log file (LOGFILE
) and a summary of speeds and road types (SPDSUM
).
File Name | Format | Description |
---|---|---|
MCREF |
ASCII | County cross-reference file |
MOBL |
SMOKE map | Intermediate inventory file produced by Smkinven |
MUMAT |
I/O API NetCDF | Ungridding matrix from Grdmat |
MVREF |
ASCII | County settings file |
SPDREF (optional)
|
ASCII | Speed profiles cross-reference file |
FULLSCC_ONLY
: See description in Section 6.2.3.2, “Input Environment Variables”. In this context, this option affects cross-referencing for the SPDREF file by preventing left-7 SCC assignments.
SMK_SOURCE
: See description in Section 6.2.3.2, “Input Environment Variables”.
USE_INVSPD_DEFAULT
: [default: N]
If USE_SPEED_PROFILES
is set to Y, this variable determines if sources that do not have matching entries in the SPDREF
cross-reference file should use inventory speeds.
Y: Use inventory speed as default for sources that do not have matching entries in the SPDREF
file
N: Print a list of sources that do not have matching SPDREF
entries and exit with an error
USE_SPEED_PROFILES
: [default: N]
Indicates whether hourly speed profiles should be used instead of speed data from the inventory.
Y: Use hourly speed data; requires SPDREF
cross-reference file
N: Use speed data from the mobile inventory
