ELEV_WRITE_LATLON: [default: Y]
Defines whether to write the latitude and longitude information of special elevated or PinG sources to the stack groups file Section 9.3.2, “STACK_GROUPS” for air quality models CMAQ, MAQSIP, and UAM-style:
o Y: Write the latitude and longitude information of elevated or PinG sources to the the stack group file.
o N: Do not write the latitude and longitude information of elevated or PinG sources to the the stack group file.
The ELEV_WRITE_LATLON can not be N, when processing for PinG sources, since CMAQ does need the latitude and longitude to be included.
This program not only applies adjustment factor to the emissions over the grid cells after SMOKE has already created model-ready inputs using the adjustment factor (ADJ_FACS) file, but also appends a tag to the species from a logical file using the tag species (TAG_SPECIES) file:
ADJ_FACS: Contains the species name, the logical file name, and the factor to be applied to all grid cells
TAG_SPECIES: Contains the logical file name, the species name, and the tag to be appended
When the special keyword “COMBO” is used as a speciation profile code in the GSREF file, all sources matching the cross-reference entry should use a combination speciation profile. The combination speciation profiles file (GSPRO_COMBO) contains a combination of multiple speciation profiles that combine multiple speciation profiles with a weight for each profile to support a mixture of fuel profiles to specific counties, when users have information to provide about market penetration of each fuel and have speciation profiles for each of these fuels available.
GSPRO_COMBO : a combination of multiple speciation profiles that combine multiple speciation profiles with a weight for each profile to support a mixture of fuel profiles to specific counties. See more detail at Chapter 8.5.3 in SMOKE manual.
BY ELEVSTAT STACKGROUP: Records include the status of sources as elevated (E), plume-in-grid (P), and low-level (L). All elevated statuses could appear in the same report, depending on the inventory and elevated source selection criteria. STACKGROUP can be appended to the option to additionally output stack group number from PELV file. This instruction can be used for point sources only.
BY ORIS [NAME]: Records are printed by ORIS ID code. NAME can be appended to the option to additional output the ORIS ID code description (from the ORISDESC file) instead of only the ORIS ID code.
Updates to the default run script file (smk_pt_nctox.csh) to include a new PLUME_GTEMP_NAME: [default: TEMP2].
